Dr. Nadi received her Doctor of Medicine degree from Kabul Medical University and practiced Obstetrics and Gynecology in Kabul, Afghanistan for several years before immigrating to the United States where she completed an Internal Medicine residency at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in Richmond Hill, New York. After becoming board certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine, she went on to complete a fellowship in Sleep Medicine at Temple University in Philadelphia, and now practices both internal and sleep medicine in Southern California. She has previously served as a medical consultant for Service and Health Among Deployed Veterans – an NGO that provided medical services to underserved individuals in Afghanistan. Dr. Nadi is fluent in Pashto and Persian/Dari/Farsi, and also speaks Hindi and Urdu at an advanced level.
